  • Notes: Dr. Isaac Bronson (1770-1839) was a junior surgeon during the Revolutionary War and a banker credited with co-founding the New York Life Insurance and Trust Company and the Ohio Life Insurance and Trust Company. By 1828 he was one of the wealthiest men in New York City.
  • Condition: in overall good condition; there is a repaired tear to the sitter's coat; there does not appear to be any inpaint to the sitter's face; additional photos available upon request
